Level milestones are definitely good ideas for badges. I believe I heard there is a big tournament for demi-god status around here, participation and or victory in said tournament should get badges.
Some other ideas:
"I'm an atheist cleric so what?": Worship a god from a land other then your species native land.
"Destiny had plans for me, I had other plans.": Create a character who contradicts their own soul color massively.
"Death doesn't really stick.": Die. Live to tell the tale.
